A new semester, something for yourself

Between university, work and studying, make room for movement and meeting people outside the lecture hall. We welcome university students to jiu-jitsu focused on self-defence. Sessions include fundamentals, partner exercises and controlled technique practice. You do not need to get fit before starting.

You will join our existing youth and adult group. Come on your own or with a friend; you do not need to bring a training partner.

Your first session costs 0 PLN

Meet the instructor, the group and our approach to training at no charge for your first session. No gi or previous experience is required. Ask the instructor about current fees for subsequent sessions before deciding to continue.

When and where?

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 18:00-19:30, in the youth and adult group.
  • Primary School No. 6, Rubinowa 4, 35-322 Rzeszów, Załęże district.
  • Join on Thursday, 1 October 2026, or a later Tuesday or Thursday. New members are welcome throughout the year.
  • Arrive around 15 minutes early to change and speak with the instructor.

Getting ready for your first session

Bring a comfortable T-shirt, sports trousers or leggings, water and flip-flops for use off the mat. We train barefoot on the mat. Remove jewellery and tell the instructor about injuries or limitations relevant to exercise.

Getting to Rubinowa 4

By bus

Check bus 11 towards Potockiego and the Stączka / Jaspisowa 04 nż stop. Bus 41 also serves this stop, but has fewer departures; do not assume it offers a convenient connection for the 18:00 session or the journey home. Plan your walk from the stop to the school at Rubinowa 4.

Before travelling, check your date, direction and return stop in the official RTM Rzeszów journey planner. Aim to reach the school by 17:45 and plan your return after 19:30. Timetables and routes may change. For a request stop, press STOP to tell the driver you want to get off.

Plan your journey from your actual university building or accommodation. Campuses are spread across the city, so you may need to change buses. Plan a public transport journey.

Walking, cycling or driving

Use Rubinowa 4, Rzeszów as your destination, rather than the club's former address. Open the school location in Google Maps. Allow extra time to find the entrance and training hall on your first visit. Call us if you need help finding the venue.

We will confirm the next session and answer your questions. If you need instruction in English, please ask us about language support before attending.

You do not need to know whether martial arts are for you. That is what your first session is for.
