The technique itself does not determine the effects. What matters is the way the classes are conducted, the rules, respect and whether the trainer teaches control.

The meta-analysis found no significant effect of martial arts training on reducing aggression in all participants. Some studies on judo have shown improved behavior, but this cannot be generalized.
Jiu-jitsu
In our exercises, force without control is not the goal. We learn to stop, tap out and respect our partner.
